Post-Surgical Recovery & Faja Use
Some post-operative care providers incorporate textured foam pads beneath compression garments, including fajas, as part of individualized swelling-management protocols.
However, medi identifies this Lymphpad as a replacement pad for mediven flat-knit medical compression stockings. Use beneath a post-surgical faja is outside that stated intended application and should only be considered when specifically approved by your surgeon or qualified compression specialist.
Incorrect placement or excessive compression may cause discomfort, skin irritation, pressure injury, or impaired circulation.
Do not place the pad directly over open incisions, compromised skin, or areas where your clinician has advised against compression.

Follow the care instructions for the compression garment and attached pad. When used as directed with compatible medical compression stockings, the manufacturer states that the pad may be washed with the garment.
